Cuddly Dog and The Little Girl on Nook at Barnes and Noble
Cuddly Dog and The Little Girl at Fastpencil
Good Day everybody,
Me and Froggy Froggur went to Washington, DC last week to watch the fireworks and got to see lots of sights. Unfortunately, we took the Washington Metro subway into the city, and we lost our camera before we got to the monuments.
Froggy Froggur was worried that everyone would be sad, but we knew we had to give an explanation to all the kids, and at least tell you what we did and who we saw.
When we first got off the Metro, the first thing we saw were the thousands of families that had come to this magnificent city. We also noticed how dry the grass was and how hot it was. So, we bought some ice cream.
We then walked down past the Washington Monument and took a small picture with our telephone, but it didn't turn out all that good. We finally reached the Lincoln Monument and sat on the steps for a few minutes until the crowds had cleared enough for us to see Abraham Lincoln sitting in his chair. Some children saw us, but nobody came to say 'Hi'.

We than walked over to the Thomas Jefferson monument and enjoyed looking at the water and all the boats going up and down the river. There sure was a lot of pretty boats.
It was close to supper time and one little boy waved to us, but he didn't say anything, but we waved back. We than went back to the main mall area and walked all the way down to the Native American Indian Museum and ate in their cafeteria on the bottom floor.

Its close to where the Capitol building is. After that, we walked around the museum for a few hours and saw some really good children's books that dealt with Native American legends. Froggy Froggur especially like a book about a little Indian girl, it was called, 'Frog Girl'.

When we finally left, we went over to where the line was to be part of the Capital 4th Celebration that was being televised. It took us a long time to get in, and the guards ran their little metal detectors all over our little bodies, but they let us in. Once we got in, we found a nice spot that was a little bit of a way from the stage, but we could see okay. It was a great show.

Of all the things I can say about the show, the definite thing is that Matthew Broderick sounds and looks like he could be the new version of Frank Sinatra. I really do believe that. His stage persona and the way he carried himself with his duet partner,...well... it was so much like looking at Frank Sinatra it was scary.

Finally, we got to see the Fireworks. It was beautiful. Our only regret was that we didn't have our camera. Well, hopefully we can do it again next year but with some beautiful pictures to share.
We have to go for now, but we want to thank all the people who have viewed our music video, and who have looked at our colored photos that appear in our new book. And if you haven't seen them, than go take a look.

The pictures in our new book appear to be in black and white, but that's not how they were drawn. I've included them in a previous blog and they're in full color.
So bye for now, and be good to your family and friends.
Love, Cuddly Dog and Froggy Froggur.
